BRIAN FROUD IN DISCUSSION WITH THE JIM HENSON COMPANY
Brian Froud is currently in the final stages of negotiation with the Jim Henson Company to reprise his role as lead conceptual designer for THE DARK CRYSTAL 2, the as yet un-named sequel to the 1982 film fantasy classic, THE DARK CRYSTAL. Brian is scheduled to begin the initial phase of conceptual design this month, with no production start date yet identified. We will share all the up-to-the-minute news and previews on this exciting and long awaited project with Froudians right here on the World of Froud website.

FAERIEWORLDS FESTIVAL 2005 IN OREGON JULY 23rd -24th

Over 2,500 guests from across the country and the world entered the Realm in Eugene, Oregon as Imaginosis and Woodland Productions transformed the Secret House Winery into the Faerieworlds Festival 2005. Based on a near unanimous response from our guests, vendors and musicians, this was our most successful festival yet, a magical blend of art, music, storytelling and performance for the whole family. Featured performers Karen Casey and Kevin Burke thrilled the crowd and received standing ovations while our official “Faerieworlds” bands, Woodland and Trillian Green perfectly epitomized the transformational energy, enchantment and musical artistry that makes our Festival so unique. Plans are already underway for Faerieworlds 2006 on both the West and East Coast (and we might throw a Faerieworlds Masquerade this Fall - stay tuned!).

I SO want to go to the faerieworls festival.... check out all the piccies and stuff.... awwwwww... if only it were on this side of the plannet.... though it would be awesome to travel there too... hehehehe ...:*floats away with the faeries*:.
