hey!
I played my.... 2nd tournament today! (texas hold 'em poker!) I placed 5th out of 80!!! At the site that means i got 6 LP (loyalty points) which means when i get 4 more i can enter a tournament for $500!! Yay!!
Jason had a job interview!!!!!! YAY!!!! Its at cell phone place where u sell cells, its commision only but thats ok 'cuz its $40 per phone that u get plus if u stay there u get extras if ur like assistant manager or manager! and its easy to move up in the ranks (as manager u get $40 per phone YOU sell PLUS $4 for ANY phone sold in the store!) only bad thing is its 6 days a week with no weekends off so Jay wouldn't really get to see me much... I decided thats okay, i'll see him in october (even though he'll be working some of those days) and then reading week i'll see him and then in the summer! It'll be okay if its a long time btwn visits but it makes me feel better knowing we're sharing the tough burden of the distance since now i'll be buying the bus tickets and he'll not have to pay for a hotel.
This is all assuming he gets the job. it pays a bit more than he gets now too, by their "minimum" sales requirements he'll make 2000 more than his current job AND THE BEST THING IS HES NOT IN DANGER!! I don't have to worry about seeing him covered in burns or that metal might fall and kill him.
THe guy he spoke to said he's almost garenteed the job so i'm happy for jay!!
