Education - opinions needed
Read the following article: Evanston school eliminates honors humanities course.
The reasoning is just appauling: "the district can raise student performance and reduce the predictably of achievement based on a student's race."
Will other school districts follow suit?
*Theoretically*, this is a good idea, because the plan will force more challenge on lower-performing students. but *practically* I don't think it can be implemented to produce this result...
