Another girl!!
I'm excited about this for many reasons. I would have been really happy with a boy, too, but now I'm overjoyed.
She looks good; she's about 12 ounces now and is on par for her gestational stage. All fingers and toes are there, and she's a wiggle worm with a good heartbeat. I may upload her "pictures" later.
Her name will likely be Carolyn, especially after I tell my grandmother today, who will be her namesake. Hard to go back on that one. Middle name is still up for grabs, but Gwenyth and Alexandra are strong candidates.
We talked to our midwife today about having my tubes tied during the c-section. There are only so many open-abdominal surgeries I'm willing to voluntarily put myself through, and only so many pregnancies I'm willing to put myself and my family through. Two, actually, is a good number, I think.
