i spent friday evening at the biscuit factory for nehemiahs birthday soiree. it was a fun night, filled with wine, cheeeese, good conversations, dancing, and a dash of social anxiety. i must remember to not smoke and drink at a party, unless i want to swim through the bowels of paranoia. i became quite determined that i was acting a fool, and had to sit down, where i continued to appear moonstruck from a seated position. aside from that, i had a really nice time, and ended the evening by scarfing down the remainder of the BEST CAKE(S) EVER. yum!
saturday morning was the on-campus orientation for my online english class. i was very unhappy to be awake and analyzing poetry at the crack of dawn after the fun i had the night before. after class, i rushed home to nap, and then met up with justin to stuff ourselves silly at golden era. veggie food as far as the eye could see! pot stickers, won ton soup, fake mongolian chicken, fake sweet and sour chicken, and my beloved fake ginger fish. we then went to see underworld evolution, which was pretty good, and had a decent soundtrack as well.
sunday was spent brunching at suppenkuche, and record shopping around the city. we also indulged in dinner and conversation at noe valley pizza restaurant. i had to go to my moms place after, to take care of her post-surgical self. she cannot lift, reach above her head, or bend down, which means i am running around like crazy over there. but its fine, i am just glad she is recovering so quickly/well.
last night i joined justin at death guild, and i had quite a bit of fun dancing and running around. saw lots of friendly folks. i had been battling with a bit of depression recently, and getting out and having fun felt really great.
i am having dinner with amy tonight at the new tartine restaurant. i am eager for good foodstuffs.
also, it is dine about town month, and justin and i are going to go somewhere on wednesday night to take advantage of the heavenly eats.
AND- freaky freaky bitches is what i like.
