Memoirs of a Geisha - you fuck. I wanted to see that on opening day too. But I thought it would be too irresponsible of me to be trucking down to the movies when I should be a-studying.

So I instead I took in some cable of a Friday night. Goodfellas was on. Man, Ray Liotta was a hot ticket way back when.

Then the next night - I decided to stay in to study. Of course I decided the best way to start studying would be to watch two back-to-back showings of Terminator 2. Awesome.

And then, weird that you mentioned Alien because last night, as I should've been memorizing something other than the greatness of Dugongs, I decided to catch a late night cable showing of Aliens. Did you know that the head of the Xenomorph was based on the morphology of the HatchetFish and/or Gulper Eel? That little factoid came in quite unhandy on my Bio-Oceanog. test the next morn. Ah well.

Yes, it was a James Cameron kind of weekend. T2 and Aliens almost make you want to forgive him for Titanic and the Abyss. Almost.

i have finals this week, but after that, i am freeeeeee. and i know the justinbird is back in iowa-land the 20th-25th, but any other time i would assume if fine! i will check with him.

I asked annie to reply here but she is apparently too shy, so I'll do it for her: The week between Christmas & New Year's is ideal for us. She's off work and I'm probably not that busy.
