I want to remember this dream I had last night:
I was outside with some friends and some kids who were playing with wiffle balls and wiffle bats. And the friends were talking about love. They said, when you are learning to play baseball, if you have a hard time at first, you don't give up, or blame the bat or the ball. You just keep practicing until you get better at it. And that love is the same way. And I replied that my attitude (especially about love, relationships and marriage) is that I'm just not good at it so I stop playing/trying.
When I woke up, I thought, wow, that's not only pretty philosophical but also pretty accurate about my feelings about myself.
Last night I spent some time with friends who are very much in love, and planning their wedding. This will be a second marriage for both of them, so the whole philosophy part from their point makes sense too.
