Tonight I had the following, going with my whole five colour plan for salads:
2 cups of mixed greens (green)
3 strawberries sliced (red)
2 large mushrooms sliced (white)
1/2 an orange sliced into segments (orange/yellow)
1/4 cup of sliced red onion (purple/blue)
I tossed that with some Maple Dijon Salad Dressing and it was delicious to say the least.
It's a lot easier to stick to a diet when the foods you are eating are interesting both visually and to the palate. :)
