Eek! You're the only person I've beaten, so far. Going for a record in 08? :-)

I am rather jealous! I have read like 2 books so far.

And sadly not because I have oh so much else going on, but just pure laziness. Not cool by me! Need to get my butt in gear!

Will have to review your list for more ideas... even if I have three sitting next to me to read, and a gift card to barnes and noble from my bday for 30bucks! hello :)

I made one of my resolutions this year to read 100 books and keep track of them. Hence the crazy amount of reading being done by me this year :) I find that because I'm travelling all over the city to tutoring jobs and such I have a lot of subway time that I can use to read which works fine as long as I don't miss my stop (which I did this morning because I was so absorbed in my book lol)

I've never read Dorothy - Return to Oz, but I've heard from pretty much everyone who has that it's bad. And yeah, the characters getting old and dying makes no sense, even if death and aging were restored in Oz. I mean, the Lion, sure, since they don't live that long in our world. But how could the Scarecrow die? You would think that his clothes would wear out, though, since they were already pretty worn at the time he was made. But maybe they're replaced a little at a time, like when the Sawhorse loses a limb and a newly-made one automatically works.

I read Something Wicked This Way Comes in the ninth grade, but I don't remember too much about it, other than the carousel that can make people older or younger. And I haven't read any of the Worst Witch books, but I DID see the movie from the eighties, which has Tim Curry singing a song about how your dog could turn into a cat on Halloween.
