Monday night TV chatter
Chuck as per usual was adorable. Highlight of the night for me was Chuck's fear of firecrackers since I have much the same reaction to them. I also loved the Mother's Day holiday.
I had forgotten that this was the new Josh Schwartz show (creator of the O.C.). I think this time around he's taken some elements from The O.C. that worked really well and built up a fun show around them. Namely Seth and Alex. There are characters who worked before and they're working again now. Yvonne Strahovski (Sarah) even looks like Olivia Wilde.
Anyways it's a cute fun show and totally worth checking out if you're not watching it already. TV shows this fall all have a stay of exicution right now because of the potential writers strike. So there's a little more time to build up a fanbase. So give Chuck a try, don't let my cute show get cancelled!
Heroes is one I'm just really getting into this year. I saw it here and there last year and picked up the main plot points but this year I've made an effort to watch every week. This week of course the dreaded KBell made her debut. I was pretty much dreading that because she really went downhill acting wise on VM towards the end. However they've typecast her as a spoiled Daddy's girl type and she's proven she can work that one so maybe it'll go okay. She also can electricute people... it's a pretty super power, lots of shiny icons will come from it I'm sure... but it also reminds me of Jubalee who was the meh member of the XMen.
At any rate the rest of Heroes I'm enjoying. I'm looking forward to seeing what they pull together for November sweeps :)
