(no subject)
Okay I just had the craziest dream (it is now 7am and I must type this up before I go back to bed because it was all too random)
So firstly I was visiting my parents house and my mom says all of these bills have been arriving from the Delta Chelsea hotel for a room that I'd booked. It turned out that I remembered this room from some staff party from 7 years ago and that the hotel had said they'd "maybe cover the cost for the gift shop employees" but then obviously not so much. SO I was sitting on a $500 outstanding bill and they were freaking out. Then my mom said she knew someone who worked there so we could go talk to him, David (no idea who he was)
So I went and totally freaked out at him (as perhaps we should have freaked out at some of those employees years ago.... Pillsbury Pervert comes to mind) and had the room charge dropped.
THEN I went to tell Dell about this because she would get the full impact of that event and then we randomly decided we were going to Europe (I think this has something to do with seeing that Sarah Slean is planning a November Paris show and realizing she's probably not coming back to Canada very often) Anyways, we decided that not only were we going to Europe, we were leaving that night. And from where we were sitting while we decided we could see the Hollywood Hills sign and they were building something else too... and then we looked East and could see the European coast. Clearly the world was much smaller in my dream lol.
So we were getting ready to run off to Europe for a 4 day trip (why I believe I could see much of anything there in 4 days I do not know) and then I remembered I had work and could not leave randomly for a couple of days because next week so many people from the office were going to be on vacation. (It occurs to me that I was dreaming of all of this... or at least this part... happening today, odd)
Then I decide I'm taking in some Much Music organized Sarah Slean appearance. I think it was in a mall.... certainly not the Chum building. And she was doing a meet and greet but now it was Christmas time so she was being the Mall Santa (what the fuck that means I do not know) so I passed on seeing her as Santa and then apparently missed the singing portion of the night where she was all Gwen Stephani-ed out a la Tragic Kingdom era (which now makes sense because they showed a clip of the No Doubt I&I on tv last night from way back then, the one I was outside for, and I was all excited to see that) and so I ended up watching it on the mall TV and she had some random explanation about missing the London show which I can't remember but it was odd.
Then at the end I was wandering around this mall.... which then looked like the ghetto G-Square... with random people, sometimes Dell, sometimes Pasioneers who I knew and Dell and I see this sign by an escalator: "Why do I have to write 'UP' on the sign when you dumbasses can clearly see this is an up escallator" which we found very amusing because it is true. Then we got on the escallator and it was a down escallator, the sign was to fool everyone.
And then at some point just before I woke up I was trying to see Sarah Slean after the performance but she'd gond and gotten crazy amounts of famous so there was no hope in hell of seeing her.
So I can see where a lot of that came from but there was still a huge element of WTF about that one.
