Veronica Mars: Look Who's Stalking Now
spoilers under the cut
hehe best use for a Mean Girls quote ever because, A. That happened to Meg, but B she got her revenge by sleeping with someone (Lucky perhaps?... if it comes out that he had it I'll have to LOL at that one, Duncan played sloppy seconds to a janitor!) and giving Duncan chlamydia which he then gave to Veronica. Also, I'm pretty sure that's the STI that Veronica and Gia are discussing in their health class earlier this season and Veronica was all amused that Gia thought it was a flower. Well who's laughing now?
Okay it sucks but still is funny. And I will believe that she got it from Duncan because I think Kendall would be freaking out if she was sleeping with Logan and getting an STI from it.
Speaking of her let's jump ahead to discuss something that I think Naty wrote about in her LJ. We are supposed to assume that Kendall is like this huge sex magnet who can get anyone she wants. She was with one of the most rich men in Neptune... and now she's been banging highschool boys? There's something very strange about that situation.... beyond the "ew" factor. Dick Sr. had ties to Woody Goodman. Woody Goodman still might possibly be involved in the bus crash... and now Kendall, while she was still with Dick Sr., hooks up with an almost highschool sr (because they had to have started fooling around in the summertime, that "can Dick and Beaver come out and play" was not a first encounter.) See, there's something that just is totally off there. I'm not even getting into the Fitzpatrick connection. It will be important too, clearly as they are the ones who seem to tie a lot of the mystery together, and again it plays into the idea that she's not wth Logan because she likes him, or lusts for him or whatever, there's a plot behind it.
Okay anyways. Veronica making fun of Madison was awesome. Especially as it was infront of Dick who just wouldn't get it if she'd come right out and said "I saw a tape of you screwing Lamb in an elevator" hee.
Butters and Mac forever! lol okay or not, because I think they are two different kinds of weird for each other. But he talked about the space elevator which is an idea that I enjoy telling people about and then having them disbelieve me and then me being right. This is because when Wade first told me about the space elevator I thought he was lying to make me look dumb.
Everyone looked so pretty all dressed up!
Corney!
The show was back to a regular pace this week. Interesting tidbits like the guy who paid the hooker to nab Cliff's briefcase being Aaron Echolls cellmate. Not surprising though because I think most people guessed at the end of last weeks episode that the contents of the briefcase were used to help give Aaron an alibi rather than to get Logan back into jail. But this I guess just gives it a more solid foundation. But we had a good mystery of the week...
I like that the Lucky character wasn't dropped. I guess he was the important information that Meg had that no one talked to her about while she was, oh I don't know, alive! I want to know why he hates Woody Goodman, there's still the theory that he was a child molestor or something but I think that's really not where this whole season is leading, it just doesn't click right. However he clearly is a scary creepy mean man and I hate that he's after Keith, that's worrysome. Also maybe after Jackies dad, which is also not of the good.
Now who would have thought that I would have been so happy to see Jackie and Wallace hook up? Not I, but as the season has gone on I just think she's a great character.... but I really do like that she's standing by going to Paris next year, that's good to see on tv instead of ya know the typical Felicity plot of "oh the boy likes me, I'll just follow him to his university and throw away my life plans tra la la la la"
Oh, and the LoVe. I love it and hate it and it was so perfectly angsty. When will those crazy kids just work it out? ( my money is on a few seasons from now lol) However they have to keep having scenes together because the two actors play so well off of each other that their scenes just work. Even when they're sappy as hell and I'm thinking "I know better than to buy this" it still worked and even made me a little misty. And of couse the ending left me yelling "just get in the freaking elevator with her asshat!" but whatever.
And poor Keith, he tries to be the nice guy and just gets slandered for it. I want to give Mr. Mars a big hug.
only 2 episodes left! This season feels like it's flying by now! Honestly, where did this last year go? Time has just skipped ahead so quickly!
