Save Veronica Mars
... and instead of sleeping I've just had a brainstorm of sorts. For almost the past two years the Veronica Mars fans have been trying to figure out how to get the network's attention and let them know they want the show to stay on the air. They've also been trying to get more and more viewers.
For sure this year viewers have been added :) Ratings are still not super high yet though and we're coming to the time of the year when shows are renewed or axed.
So the question is now how to get the Network's attention and let them know that VM should have another season (at least!)
My answer of the night: Spirit Boxes
Make your own to send into the new CW network execs (does anyone know of a good mailing address for them yet? I'll have to research that after work tomorrow) and fill it with fun stuff and a letter about why you think VM should stay on the air. And if you get really into the project then send a second one to Rob Thomas as a thank you for the show thus far :) This would hopefully be something that gets a little notice and if enough people participated, perhaps even a little more buzz that draws in more viewers.
... it appears that UPN continues as it's own station until September... so perhaps they still are the best people to send things to.
