An update

The house: gonna be a pain to get everything out of here in a very timely manner. I'm gonna move anything I can in laundry baskets and unpack/unload as I get there (i.e. kitchen stuff, bathroom stuff, etc). I don't want to box up every little thing in the house, because I don't want to be living out of boxes for months upon months. Nothing has gone into boxes that isn't labeled so I know exactly what is in it, and that I can't live without. A big bunch of that stuff is in the storage unit I rented in April.

The furniture will get moved next weekend. Internet/phone/tv will be transfered to the new house as of next Thursday.

We're likely signing paperwork Tuesday, or by some stroke of grace, sometime Monday. Since we don't have a time confirmed as of yet, I'll consider this to be Tuesday, not Monday.

Big deadlines at work this week. I feel pretty good about Canada, and the US flyer work was just a stressful mess. First proofs went to the in house proofreader for US today (should have been by yesterday), and the Canada stuff should be good to go, with all corrections done. Mostly, I miss working with people in a place where people love their jobs. It just isn't like that in advertising there. BUSY. Overall though, I likes the people. It's just sooo very corporate and micromanaged. I understand it for organizational reasons when it comes to production management (which really isn't too bad, just organized), but the company over all... kinda weird. I applied for a graphic artist position at TIGI. Now that, I'm very interested in.

Tonight? Going to see ECHO & the BUNNYMEN at the Gypsy Tea Room! Very excited. :) Doors at 9pm, show at 10pm. I'm gonna be so exhausted when i get home.

Tomorrow? Aidan's 10th birthday party. He wanted to have a fishing party, so we're going to Kid's Kastle park, which has two lovely fish ponds, kept well stocked. I still need to shop for goody bags and favors, burgers and buns for grub. Cheap and cheerful.

Then more packing.

But a new house. YAY.
