The mountains did not crumble into the sea...

As my brother is here, I've been kicking and screaming and scratching and hssing and almost - well almost - spitting and biting. Of course I can do pretty much what I like when he is here, because the parents are so busy with him... feeding eliza's brother, dressing eliza's brother...

I've started my first Jean-Paul Sartre - Words.

There is no english website with a decent biography of Gaspard Koenig and a decent summary of Octave avait vingt ans. And google's translate feature is so annoying - " its first novel is about..." - gah!

A rather scary thing happened at work - I don't really kow much about what I am writing about and I was asked to brief somebody, and as I'd never briefed anybody before, I was a little confused as to what I had to do - so anyway I was kept talking for than an hour quoting statistics and what nots and pointing to flow charts on the laptop screen [ the lappy had been stolen from my father] etc, etc... So then I was asked about my findings and I said something about instituional reform which was considered very relevant and they [ the NGO ] have decided to hold their next meeting on it. And they've also decided to believe that I'm close to becoming an " expert" on something like water governance and water related institutional reform. Ouch! Ignorance may be bliss but it is also very scary, especially in your superiors. Pay Day [ hopefully ] is approaching.

I just finished reading a very nasty and badly translated review of Octave avait...
