Life, in reverse.

Today: HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KAROT!! *SMISHES*

Last week: Miserably sick. The miserable was mostly due to the lack of sleep that coughing invariably brings. Didn't have any bad spells last night, which might also account for today's productivity. Such as it is. What little energy I've had, I've focused on getting my homework done. It's a good thing I'm only taking two classes this month.

Mid-May: Spent 10 days at Casa Rana. With Cass(augurscourtesan) and the puppies. And smished Rune and Karot in person. This was my fifth trip south down the left coast and it felt too short, as it always does. Although I'm very glad they only had to suffer the first three days of me with the plague. Not that it really made that much difference because I always feel very much at home at Casa Rana and had already claimed ownership of the sofa. And I can throw a ball just as well when sitting down.

May 7: Officially unemployed! This puts me pretty much in the same situation I was two years ago, without having to deal with boxes and movers.

For anyone wondering about the writing -- it's not dead. As you can tell by this post, I haven't been working the storytelling muscles lately and will need some time to get back into the rhythm. I think I will have to set aside full days for it because I seem to work best when I can immerse myself in a topic. I never had the chance to find this out before. On line courses are wonderful!! Physical activity--housework, shopping, yoga--doesn't seem to break the rhythm. Even guitar practice or needlework is refreshing rather than distracting. Reading shifts the gears, though. I'm going to restrict reading to when I'm too tired to do any of the other stuff, or when I give myself a "reading day."

I came to these conclusions while I was writing. I'm so excited! I love it when I think I've figured something out about my brain. (Which is likely to be disproved next week but YAY! THEORIES! )
