Hey cool kids!
I figured I might make a post since a few things have been happening in my world.
The best, by far, was our big Gaithersburg High School get-together this past Monday. We all met over at Kelley Park, over by Gaithersburg Middle, and we all had a hilarious time over food we brought. We lolled around on blankets and on lawn chairs, and ate tons of food and made all sorts of dirty jokes. Oh yeah, and talking about our college lives here and there, lol (because who really cares about that when you're on summer vacay, right? XD). We even were game enough for some games of frisbee and badminton. However, as much fun as I had, it was all spoiled because I GOT SUNBURNED. HORRIBLY SO. Most of it has gone away by now, but it was still annoying, especially when everyone else didn't.
All in all, we had a great time. I got to see friends that I hadn't seen since graduation! That's waaaaaaay too long of a time to go without seeing your friends, and we all promised that we were going to do this a couple more times before summer is through (when we can find the time, that is. After all, now that college is done for now, we all have to WORK).
In my spare time, I've continued with my Avatar: The Last Airbender fandom again, especially after I found a blog called markwatches.net. It's this guy named Mark (duh) who gets paid to blog about the shows he's watched and the books he's. If you all thought Alex Reads Twilight was priceless, then you GOT TO READ Mark's reviews of all all four books! THEY ARE SO FREAKIN' HILARIOUS! He just about has a stroke every time he reads a new chapter (because Stephenie Meyer is ridiculous). But he's also currently watching Avatar: The Last Airbender, and thankfully, he is loving it! He's already on season two, and I can't wait to check and see if he's reviewed the next episode. IT'S THE ONE WHERE TOPH SHOWS UP! He's going to love her.
Another show that I'm starting to get into is Supernatural. Hilariously enough, my Dad is the one who has been watching it for the past week and a half! He told me he first started watching it because he loves Dean and Sam's car (lol, that would be his reason for watching a T.V. show), and from there, he's been watching the re-runs they show on TNT every morning. And through that, I've been watching it with him. I have to say, this show is great! I'm really loving all the crazy, supernatural plots and I ADORE the Winchester boys. My personal favorite is Dean (because he's just as snarky as he is hot). They're showing the episodes from the first season in 2005, and I can't get over how young Jared Padelecki looks! He looks like a little boy next to the other guy. XD But yeah, it's a great show, and I can't wait to see more.
