At least that's how it's supposed to go, right? We've had entirely too much rain these past few days; today is the first day in almost a week where it's actually been genuinely warm and sunny. I only hope it stays like this for a another few days; IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE SPRING, DAMN IT! IT SHOULD BE NICE AND WARM!
However, all of the flowers and trees are finally starting to bloom and creating a picturesque scene around Montgomery College, especially the dogwoods and the cherry blossoms. I've even seen some dandelions and daffodils, too. All of this nice weather is only making my class time all the more strenuous, because now I want to be outside running around instead of inside doing dumb schoolwork.
And man, have I had to struggle to pay attention. I got the results for my Spanish presentation yesterday, and we got an A (I knew those toquitos would help, lol!)!!! But aside from that, school's been a drag, especially math. For the past few weeks we've been studying exponential functions and logs. *head desk* Ugh, why does math insist on being unnecessarily complicated? It all seems so pointless to me. When am I EVER going to use any of that when I'm writing about English or American history when I grow up? I defy anyone to tell me otherwise. But, I'm sure one of these days someone is going to run up to me and say, "IF YOU CAN'T TELL ME THE LOGARITHM FOR THIS EQUATION, I WILL KILL YOUR WHOLE FAMILY!"
*sigh* Our test is next Wednesday, and I have sneaking suspicion that I'm actually going to fail this one.
And speaking of history, I have a five page paper to write for American History. Not that that's a hard thing; I know I'm a great writer and writing it up won't be so bad. But my laziness just doesn't want to do it, lol!
I got to talk to Ana on Facebook chat yesterday, and it was great since I haven't talked to her since last Monday. We made a plan for her to come over to my house on Saturday to hang out and have fun. Honestly, I can't wait! Hanging out with Ana will take my mind off of school.
