GUESS WHO'S BACK? MEEEEEEEE!!!
*squeals* Seriously, I am so glad that I'm home! As much as I enjoy upstate New York and all its rural beauty, but it just doesn't compare to the suburbia of the D.C. Metro area. Most of all, I missed all of you!
Well, nothing too exciting happened in the Hudson River Valley this time around, thank goodness. My mother's family lives in Rhinebeck, you know, WHERE CHELSEA CLINTON GOT MARRIED! Yeah, that's where my fam lives. In fact, the place where I got my haircut is where Mark Mezvinsky got his shave and haircut before his wedding!
And yes, I finally cut my hair! It used to be as long as the middle of my back; now, it just hangs short of my collarbone! I also got it layered, to give it some oomph. Most importantly, I donated the nine or ten inches I lopped off to Locks of Love. As much as I miss my long hair, it makes me happy when I think that someone out there will be wearing my hair! I hope they enjoy it.
The most fun thing I did when I was in Rhinebeck was going tubing on the Esopus River in Phoenicia. At first I was a little nervous, and it didn't help that I got flipped over into water that sometimes went over my head and that I beat up my knees, but I eventually got the hang of it. And I absolutely loved it! It took two and a half hours to actually do and believe me, I was EXTREMELY tired when it was time to go home. But if I had to do it again, I would.
I also watched the first season of Dexter at Aunt Judy's house. OH MY GOD, DEXTER IS SUCH AN AWESOME, COOL SHOW! I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I can't wait to watch the second season.
Also, before the summer is through, I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY want to finish the third season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, but I want to watch it with someone.
ANA, DO YOU WANT TO WATCH AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER WITH ME? We could watch it at your house, if you wanted. I could ask my Mom or Dad to drop me off at your house either tomorrow or Sunday, or whenever you want to get together. Give me a call!
