Day 5: Favorite male character and why.

Jul 27, 2010 13:58

Yes, in fact, I have two favorite male characters: Remus Lupin and Sirius Black. Do I even need a reason to tell you why I love them so much? Lupin is probably one of the nicest guys ever and a very intelligent and resourceful kind of guy. Sirius Black is, well...Sirius Black! He's a complete bad-ass as well as being a smart, funny guy. So it stands to reason that hated J.K. Rowling for a couple of days when she killed them off in Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows, but they were some of the coolest characters in the series, and were therefore going to be my favorites no matter what.

And, heh, with that beginning, I'm here to tell you that I am, in fact, ALIVE. *hugs f-list* I'VE BEEN REMISS IN UPDATING, AND IT'S TRUE! The 23rd was spent with Lydia, and we pretty much watched the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender all afternoon. The 24th was such a hectic day, and was spent primarily with my mother, which was enjoyable since she and I don't always get an opportunity like that. I got my new pair of glasses (which look banging on me, if I do say so); went to JC Penney and bought some new clothes for ourselves; went to eat at Bob Evan's; then headed over to Target to buy a couple of shirts. THEN, we went to Safeway to buy groceries. Believe me, guys, I was beat by the time we got home!

The 25th wasn't anything special, as I pretty much spent the day at home. But I did managed to register for the fall semester! I have a Tuesday/Thursday schedule, and here are my classes:

1. 17th Century - Present Day European History 11:00-12:15
2. Biology 101 12:30-1:20
3. The Lab that follows Bio 1:30-3:10

In addition to this, I'm also taking Math 101 on Saturday from 9:00-12:25. YES, I KNOW, I'M SUCH A MASOCHIST! But I'd rather take the math classes at MC than wrangle with them at St. Mary's.

Yesterday was so much fun! I invited Lydia over to my house the both of us and my Mom went to the pool across the street. It was the first time I've been to the pool all summer long, so it was absolutely refreshing being in the water. We pretty much spent the entire afternoon there, even stopping to catch the ice cream truck to get a snack. Then we scidaddled back to my house and we manged to watch four more episodes of the second season of Avatar. THIS SHOW, GUYS! I LOVE IT MORE AND MORE EACH TIME I WATCH IT! The one episode where it showed how their lives were like in Ba Sing Se was amazing, especially the part about Uncle Iroh and celebrating his son's birthday. IT MADE ME TEAR UP, AND THEN CRY LATER ON THAT NIGHT WHEN I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT! THERE'S AN EXPLANATION FOR IT: I'M A DORKY BABY, LOL. Lydia left after that, but I managed to watch episode 15 about Appa. BUT THEN, my parents came home from running errands and my Dad had to use the laptop, so I still have yet to finish season two. I'M GOING TO FINISH IT IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!

Today, I had to get bloodwork done. *head desk* Not only did I have to fast, but I have a lovely blue bruise on my inner elbow. THE LADY TOOK FOUR TUBES OF MY BLOOD; honestly, I feel like I've been punctured. And in addition to looking hideous, the stupid bruise hurts like a mother. NOT. FUN.

OH! I also wanted to tell you all about this video that Maddie showed us when we all were at her house for Very Potter Sequel. Maddie's roommate apparently likes K-Pop (Korean Pop), and she showed us this video:

SERIOUSLY, DO THEY KNOW THE MEANING OF HOMOEROTICISM IN ASIAN COUNTRIES?! HONESTLY, THAT'S CRAZY! Not to mention, that guy standing by the lockers? He's my fave: out of all those guys, Locker Boy actually looks like a man. Not to mention, this song is incredibly catchy.
