Made it!
Continuing the tradition of far too many exclamation marks in my titles, but I feel exclamation marky today because I passed! It's a miracle, but I'm not going to ask any questions *g*.
msmoat and I are about to celebrate by watching a few episodes (well, actually we celebrated first by having a Burger King veggie burger - don't say I don't know how to show a visitor a good time).
We've had a very Prosy day, meeting up with byslantedlight, crimson_37, kiwisue and phantomas for lunch and tea and lots of talking. Lovely. And I apologise to all of them for spending most of the afternoon angsting about my exam results and putting a damper on the whole affair! Despite the looming terror, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and it was great to finally put faces to so many names.
Talking of which, we also spent Wednesday in London with justacat and Angelfish Archivist, doing much the same thing. msmoat has experienced the whole gamut of English eating out this week - from tea and breakfast in a luxury hotel to Little Chef and Burger King (we're gradually sliding further down-market as the week goes on. Maybe tomorrow we can sample the layby hamburger stand on the road to Yarmouth...)
The whole weeks feels rather like an extended mini-con. Which is the ideal way to spend a holiday, really.
