I am thrilled to share the BRAND NEW COVER for the sequel to StarCrossed, Liar's Moon!

Look how the whole design from Book 1 is echoed in the cover of Book II--the central star/moon, the cracked door repeated as the stone walls... so awesome!
This beautiful thing is once again the work of artist Juliana Kolesova and designer Phil Falco, with model Colleen Johnston reprising her role as Digger!
If you've noticed a touch more intrigue to the cover of Book 2, you're not mistaken! This time Digger is back in Gerse, mixed up in a murder mystery--or, as the Scholastic Fall Catalogue put it, "Prisons, poisons, and passions combine in a gorgeously written fantasy noir."
...And speaking of Gerse, we have a little surprise for the fans! Liar's Moon is getting--wait for it--a MAP! Brilliant fantasy cartographer (I am not making that up!) Mike Schley has been engaged to produce maps of Gerse and Llyvraneth. We've been working on this for a little bit now, and had to keep quiet, but the contracts are signed and the art is in, so I can finally give you a little sneak peek:
Trust me, the real thing is AMAZING! It was incredible watching a city that's been in my head for twenty-two years take shape on paper. Mike had only the most pitiful sketch to go on, and created something breathtaking for us. I am in awe, and can't wait until the rest of you get to see it (November)!

There are a couple of other Very Cool Things in the works, but I can't share yet, except to say that I am sitting here, gnawing on my fingers, my face stretched into a rictus of anticipation! Hope to have good news soon!
