“What happened?”
Tegoshi scratches his right cheek, “Well…”
30 minutes ago…
“Nishikido, please come here,” Ryo’s homeroom teacher, Takizawa Hideaki, called out to him.
Ryo, who was with Koyama, scowled, “What do you want.” It sounded more like a demand instead of a question.
“Nice attitude, Nishikido.” Tackey said with sarcasm.
Ryo scowled even more. “If you called me to come over just to say that my attitude sucks, then fuck off.”
Tackey shook his head, “Nope. I just wanna inform you that the chances of you graduating next year are VERY slim.”
“What?!”
“I mean, your result in the last test were horrible.” Tackey continued.
Ryo tch’d. He wasn’t exactly good when it came to studies, “Then what am I suppose to do to graduate?”
Tackey smiled, “Don’t worry. I had asked a prodigy to tutor you. He should be here soon.”
Ryo mumbled something inaudible.

“Ne Shige, let’s eat at that new shop~” Tegoshi said cheerfully. His arms slung around Massu’s.
“Not today. Takizawa-sensei said that he want to meet me after school.”
“Eh? Takizawa-sensei? Why would he wanna meet you?” Massu asked.
Shige shrugged, “No idea.”
“Shiggy~~~!!! Let’s eat at that new shop~~~!!!” Koyama shouts from Shige’s classroom door.
Shige sighed, “Tegoshi just asked the same question.”
“Really?”
“Yeah-“
“But Shige declined MY offer cause Takizawa-sensei wanna meet him.” Tegoshi finished Shige’s statement with his usual superior tone.
Koyama raised his eyebrow, “Oh. So when Takizawa-sensei said he had asked a prodigy, it was you?”
Shige’s face showed pure confusion, “Huh?”
Koyama put on a smile, “You’ll find out. Soon.”

Tackey’s face lit up when he saw Shige, “Ah. There he is.” Ryo’s eyes followed. His face scrunched up. What.The.Hell?
Shige’s face showed a similar expression with Ryo, “Takizawa-sensei, what is Nishikido-senpai doing here?” Tegoshi, Koyama and Massu following closely behind.
“I should be asking the freakin same question,” Ryo glared daggers at Tackey. Then at Shige.
Tackey seemed unaffected, “So you two know each other already? That makes things easier. Kato-kun, please tutor Nishikido in his studies. His results are so bad that he might not graduate next year.”
“WHY MUST I TUTOR HIM??!!” “WHY MUST HE TUTOR ME??!!” Shige and Ryo.
“There’s no other choice now,” Tackey reasoned.
Ryo argued back, “But I could ask Pi to tutor me. He’s ok in his studies…”
Tackey shook his head, “Yamapi’s too busy with student council work. At least his studies are slacking ONLY a little. Unlike you.”
“But still…”
“Nishikido, do you want to be like Matsumoto?” Tackey asked in a serious tone.
Ryo gulped. ‘Stars’ No. 8, Matsumoto Jun, is a year older than him. He repeated a year because of his attendance and results. Despite all of that, he is popular enough to maintain his position in ‘Stars’.
Ryo sighed, “Fine. Guess I have to tolerate this chicken-haired prodigy.”
Shige ignored Ryo, “Then what do I get from this, Takizawa-sensei?”
Tackey thought for a moment, “If you tutor Nishikido, I’ll buy the latest model camera for you.” Shige’s interest in photography is pretty much known in the school.
Shige couldn’t hide the grin from his face, “Deal.”
“Ok. Then I’ll leave the rest to the both of you,” Tackey waved to the both of them and left.
Shige cleared his throat, “So shall we go to the library?”
“Whatever.” Ryo didn’t care anymore. He was desperate to graduate next year.
Tegoshi, Koyama and Massu decided to continue following Shige. This is going to get interesting. Very.

“Yamapi, you should take a break,” Jin said, putting his hand on Yamapi’s shoulder.
Yamapi continued typing on his compueter, “Can’t. Too busy.”
“What are you doing anyway?” Jin looked at the computer, “School Cultural Festival?”
“Yeah.”
Jin sighed, “Then it can wait. School Cultural Festival’s still in another two months time.” He proceeded to pull out the computer plug, thus switching said computer off.
“Jin!” Yamapi shouted.
“If I didn’t do that, you wouldn’t take a break. You should take a walk and breathe in some fresh air.” Jin advised.
This time it’s Yamapi’s turn to sigh, “Fine.”

Maybe Jin was right. Yamapi felt better after taking a walk. He decided to go to the library to borrow some books. Sure, he wasn’t a nerd but he still borrowed books on and off.
Suddenly…
“It is only easy for nerds like you! I rather do other things than sitting here getting lectured by YOU!”
Ok… That sounds exactly like Ryo. But what will he be doing in the library? Yamapi thought. His suspicions was confirmed when he spot Ryo at a faraway corner with Shige (and Tegoshi with two strangers at the side). He walks up to them, “You know that there is a rule where you’re supposed to keep silent in the library, right?”
“Who cares? Rules are meant to be broken.” Ryo snaps back.
“Ryo-chan, watch that mouth.” Yamapi signals for Tegoshi to come over, “What is it, Leader?”
“What happened?”
Tegoshi scratches his right cheek, “Well…” He explained the whole situation to Yamapi.
“So Tackey-sensei asked Shige to tutor Ryo-chan whose result is failing?” Tegoshi nods. Yamapi turs and faces Ryo, “You must be damn embarrassed with yourself ne, Ryo-chan? Asking a kouhai to teach you…”
“Shut up…” Ryo mumbles weakly.
Yamapi smiles, “Anyway, good luck improving your grades. Shige, please take care of Ryo-chan.”
“Hai, Yamapi-senpai…”
Yamapi smiles wider, “Then, bye. My break time’s over.” He walks off.
“I wanna talk to him~” Koyama squeals and runs after Yamapi. Massu follows.
Tegoshi turns to Shige, “Do you want me to accompany you until it’s over?”
“Nah, it’s alright. If you wanna follow Kei-chan and Massu, go ahead.” Shige flaps his hand, shooing Tegoshi.
“Kay~ Then I’ll see you two tomorrow. Bye, Shige~ Bye, Ryo-tan~” Tegoshi runs off.
So Shige and Ryo are left alone in the library.
“Then, let’s continue. Try solving this problem.” Shige passes the paper to Ryo, who reluctantly takes it.
“I don’t fucking understand!!”
Shige body stiffens. Calm down, Shige. Maybe he really doesn’t understand. He begins coaching Ryo, “Understand?”
Ryo groans and messes his hair, “Oh, I understand. Whoever came up with this should rot in hell. Oh wait, he IS already in hell.”
A vein appears on Shige’s forehead, “Maybe you should TRY to understand it then just stupidly nodding like you actually understand!”
Ryo stands up angrily, both hands on the table, “How can I even understand it if I have such a bad teacher?!”
Shige copies Ryo’s action, “Oh, now you’re blaming me for your stupidity?! Gosh, I didn’t know that you’re such a drama queen!”
“Who’s a drama queen?! I am THE SEXY OSAKA MAN!!!”
“You mean THE SHORT OSAKA MAN?? Even strangers will know that!”
“ENOUGH!” The head librarian shouts, “If you want to continue arguing like an old married couple, I order the both of you to leave the library NOW.”
“WE ARE NOT ANYTHING LIKE A MARRIED COUPLE!” Shige and Ryo both shout at once.
The head librarian puts his hands on his hips, “I.Don’t.Care. Get out of the library. Nishikido, if you think that I will give you face just because you’re in ‘Stars’, you’re SO wrong.” He points at the entrance.
“Alright! Damn, it’s your entire fault, Kato.” Ryo packs his stuff.
“I should be saying that to you, Nishikido-senpai,” Shige answers back, packing his stuffs as well.
As they leave the library, they continue insulting each other. Well, more like Shige complaining non-stop about how it’s Ryo’s fault that they are banned from the library.
“You don’t know how to shut up, do you?” Ryo mumbles angrily.
“Wha-” Shige’s sentence is stopped midway when Ryo pulls him by the collar, silencing him with his mouth.
They break apart after a moment. Ryo slowly licks his lips. “So you finally shut up. Wow, Kato. Despite being a nerd, you tasted quite good.”
Shige quickly covers his mouth with his hand and quickly looks around. Luckily, no one’s around. He turns his attention back to Ryo, “That’s gross. Don’t kiss people all of a sudden.” That’s a lie, of course. Shige enjoyed it, although he still hates Ryo.
“Mmmm…” Ryo lifts his hand and takes off Shige’s glasses. He whistles, “I never knew that you look quite sexy without those thick glasses.”
Shige blushes and snatches his glasses away from Ryo, “Sadly, I need them. Badly. My eyesight is bad.”
“You could always try contact lens.”
“Hmm…”
They reach the exit of the building. “My dorm’s this way. Are we still meeting each other for tutoring class?” Shige asks.
“Yeah… Although your teaching ability sucks, I don’t have much of a choice now, do I? Ryo looks up at the darkening sky.
“I guess.” Shige wanted to snap back at the comment but he couldn’t find the suitable words to say.
“Then I’ll see you after school tomorrow. Bye.
“Bye,” Shige waves Ryo off.

"Jin~ Let’s do something fun~~” Kame whines, semi-drunk. They are in Jin’s room.
“Maybe later, Kazu~ I have to check up on Pi. Knowing him, he’s probably drowned in his work again. And it’s already past midnight.” Jin replies, changing into a simple T-shirt.
Kame pouts, “Pi, Pi, Pi. You’re always talking about Pi. What about me??”
“Pi’s my best friend. Of course I’m worried about him. You’re my best friend too.” Jin prepares some snacks, “Well, I’m leaving now. See you later.”
Jin walks up to the door but is stopped abruptly when a pair of arms wrap around him from behind, “Kazu, let go.”
“Liar. I know that you have romantic feelings for Yamapi.” Kame lets out a small sob, “You used to love me that way~ When did you fall out of love?”
“That’s a long story,” Jin puts his hand on Kame’s in attempt to let it go, but that only made Kame hug him tighter, “Kazu…”
“Stay with me. Stay with me because I’m your best friend. Please.” Kame begs, still sobbing.
“But, Pi…”
Kame spins Jin around and kisses him. Jin pushes him away, “Kazu, stop it!” He quickly leaves the room, leaving Kame alone.
Kame slowly sinks to his knee, “Why, Jin? You promised me last time that we will always be together… Why?”
That night, Kame fell asleep on the cold hard floor in his ex-lover’s room.
