Taking on Tuesday
I spend most of the day with my Grandmother who had knee replacement surgery yesterday. She had to begin physcial therapy today and it took everything in me not to cry while she was yelling out in pain..I know it's best for her but why did they have to start today when she was still in so much pain. Anyway, she feels a lot better now and I know she will be better off in the long run.
If anyone gets the showtime channel, watch Weeds b/c it is hillarity in all it's non-FCC regulated fun. It's about a nice woman who's husband dies and to support her rich range rover lifestyle, she sells weed to all her rich friends and coworkers. It sounds bad but they make fun of the people that need to be made fun of and are sincere when they need to be. If you get Showtime, watch it.
Also, for all of you who are interested, I got a post card from Laura Martin today from Lecco, Italy. She is touring Europe with the Blue Devils and she was at the 3rd annual Italian Marching Band Championships. It took a while for the post card to get here b/c i got it today and it was post marked on July 6. I can tell it's been through a lot but i just thought some of you might like to hear what she's been up to b/c i thought it was neat.
BTW, the cubs lost last night 12-4 but won tonight with some great pitching by Maddux and Dempster and some amazing hitting by Aramis Ramirez..Good job boys.
