I am going to have a sister-in-law and I am so excited. I just spent the last few hours with Aly, telling her how she's perfect for Peter. Far better than the other people he's been with. And by far better, I mean like the distance from here to Pluto. Which I maintain is still a planet and always will be, thank you. She makes him so happy and ( Read more... )

Haha, I agree with you very much! Aly and Peter seem to be the perfect couple, and from all that I have heard, you are right about her being better for him than his previous women. I am very happy for him indeed, and I am glad that you have such a good friendship with Aly :) Your family just seems to keep getting better all the time!

It does indeed, Pierre. It's your family too.

Speaking of your family, Peter tells me they'll be coming here soon. Do you know when? I have to find a lovely place for them to stay. I told Peter I didn't trust him to find a hotel because he's used to Abbeys and I don't think they need to stay in Abbeylike conditions, really.

I feel very honoured to be a part of the family, thank you :D

Well, we always did like camping, but that is quite different from an Abbey ;) More open space and less praying!

After what happened with Tasha's parents, they wanted to be there for the memorial. So they will be arriving on the 22nd. I hope that is not too soon to be organising things?

Of course not! You leave it all up to Liz. We'll spoil them rotten! I'm very much looking forward to meeting them.

I honestly don't understand how Peter handled the Abbey. I visited sometimes and wow. No thanks.

Thank you very much, Liz! I know that my parents could not be in better hands :)

Somehow, I do not think that Abbey life would work for me, either. Too much Latin and not enough guitar playing!

Peter was a chorusmaster! He was so cute with his little singing monks. But yes, the praying and...other things would get to most people I'm sure.

Just as I suspected.

All sillyness aside, I'm really glad you love Aly. I love her too! And you made her really happy, Liz. You improved her mood 1000% and she's feeling better than she has been all day. Thank you thank you thank you.

You always did know how to heal the sick!

I'm very glad to have done that for her!

And somehow I don't think smooshing a banana on toast is going to work in this instance. Nor is giving her litres of cherry cordial and letting her watch 'Good Times'.

I suppose if I jumped up and down and yelled "Stop it stop it stop it" that would only encourage you, wouldn't it?

Damn.

Indeed it would! You have the foresight, Little Brother!

And that 'stop it' dance is adorable. You should teach it to David!

Yes, I'm psychic!

I'm sure David already has a 'stop it' dance of his own, he doesn't need mine.

Oh dear lord, I'm going to have a brother. And it's going to be David!
