Day 10
Okay, my city has some incredibly random signs.
I think my favourite one may be from the Oregon Humane Society, which shows a man cuddling a dog, and reads in nice clear letters:
Every Oregonian has a furry soulmate!
...
...
... only Oregonians?
My university goes one better, and puts nice shiny placards above the toilets:
RAINWATER: DO NOT DRINK
Toilet water, on the other hand, is just fine! -- as long as it doesn't come from the sky, of course. I don't even ... what.
Day 10: Who is your favourite EU character?
Jaina Solo, because she's the only one I don't dislike.
In my headcanon, she's Jaina Organa, though. It honestly never occurred to me that Leia and their children would use Han's name. Even as a kid, I always figured he'd take hers when they got married -- I vaguely remember wondering if they'd use Organa or Skywalker, but that's all. When I first looked her up on Wookieepedia, I was actually kind of shocked that she was there under "Leia Organa Solo" instead of "Leia Skywalker Organa."
In retrospect, I don't think it's at all likely that she'd use Skywalker in any capacity, especially if she was trying to keep the whole 'Darth Vader's daughter' thing under wraps. But I still think it'd make much more sense for them to be the Organa family. Especially what with Alderaan and all.
