I have to apologize straight off-I have two inboxes filling up with awesome comments, I haven't answered any of them (half-finished three replies, though!), haven't logged into chat much or kept up with my f-list or really done anything except eat Christmas sweets, play Heroes of Might and Magic III (totally the best of the series!), wrap a bunch of presents, keep up with Mark Reads Lord of the Rings, and leave a few comments. And I'm not really up to anything productive right now, either, so ... a meme?

What was the first sentence you wrote each month in 2011?
January: I'm late, as usual, but it's never too late to meme. ( 2010 Fic Review)
February: So, this is an interquel to my fic Distaff Lines (which was itself constructed out of my incoherent NaNo draft), and probably doesn't make much any sense without it. ( more Shmific)
March: I signed up for au_bb. ( so, I did it)
April: Guh, infections suck. ( Days 15, 16, 17, 18 + SW:ANH 9/??)
May: Well, I survived Tuesday, Day of Doom. ( Stories I'm not writing (2))
June: Fanwank of the day: When Luke decides to abandon his training and run off to Cloud City, Yoda famously warns him that if he goes, he will end up destroying all for which they have fought and suffered. ( Yoda theory + tentative Lucyfic idea)
July: I have ... a lot to write: Revenge, by far the more epic of my au_bigbang fics, only squeaked past at 12k, I have to critique two chapters for class, finish Lucy (Season 1!), and I have a couple of fifty themes bouncing around my hard drive. (general update + meme)
August: So I finished the final chapters of my two au_bigbang fics (I must say, the end of The Adventures of Lucy Skywalker makes me so happy) and decided to celebrate by ... writing more. ( I committed fic)
September: So, au_bigbang season is nearly over, and my fics are just about done. ( turn into Paranoiaville at the second left (+ memes))
October: ...to quote Darth Vaarsuvius. ( hatred empowers us)
November: I’ve been mulling this over for awhile, and figured it’d be suitable for yesterday, but I’m off-schedule as always. ( A rant.)
December: So apparently I will never run out of these (eta: holy crap there were a lot of them). ( Yet another SW picspam + meme)
Overall: memes, meta, fic, fic meta, rants, plotbunnies, fic, omg au_bb whyyyyyy and picspams. Yup, sounds about right. And apparently I begin everything with either a 'hey, this is what's up in my life' or 'so this is what I'm going to talk about.'
