Jin Akanishi's debut single "Eternal" has already sold more copies than KAT-TUN's last single "Ultimate Wheels". The singles were released on March 2nd (Eternal) and February 2nd (Ultimate Wheels).
If you take a look at the Oricon single charts of 2011 below (2010/12/27 - 2011/03/21), you'll see that Jin Akanishi's debut single "Eternal" has already sold more copies than his former group KAT-TUN with their last single "Ultimate Wheels". As for now "Eternal" sold 228,485 copies, while "Ultimate Wheels" counts 207,865 so far.

Jin Akanishi was one of the two main vocalist in KAT-TUN. Last summer he decided to go solo and left the group.
