The weekend got off to a rocky start, but today I'm cheerful and happy.
Last night, Jason and I snuck into Costco for a $2.00 dinner before going to the movie theater to see POTC III. My expectations weren't set very high. Let's face it, friends, POTC II sucked. I actually enjoyed the third one. I've decided that it isn't Johnny Depp isn't the glue that holds the movies together, it's Geoffry Rush. You can fill a film with Jack Sparrow's antics, but it will most likely leave something to be desired.
I finally get the appeal of Orlando Bloom. I like the way he speaks with his teeth gritting together. He somehow makes that work.
Medford summers smell of home. It's raining today, which is a welcome change from the ninety degree weather we've been having. I love my Jason and my Jason loves me and life is fantastic, even with the bumps in the road. Sometimes, I find myself thinking about something ridiculously simple, like eating dinner with J, and I'll be grinning ear to ear. It often warrants awkward stares, but I can't help it, I'm still smitten.
jason lambert,
days off
