Very sad in Writing World...
An Agent Shuts down a Website-
Okay two things irratate me, that's when someone gets upset and makes a VERY good site go offline. I hate that very much. It's wrong. This past week I tried logging on throughout the week to one of my most favorite places to get job leads and advice Absolute Write forums but each time nothing would come up. Okay, figured server problems.
This morning I found out because of a recent post called, "WRITER BEWARE 20 WORST AGENCIES LIST" and a mention, Barbara Bauer Literary Agency here the site went offline. She got upset, called the server lady and the site was taken off within an hour. An hour! This site didn't even get a chance and it's all because Barbara Bauer didn't like looking bad. I guess she didn't really think about how many people would be upset she shut down a site that supplied so many of us with jobs.

Judge decides sexual offender is too short for Prison, might get hurt
My other irratation, some of you may have already heard but just recently a Nebraska Judge Kristine Cecava, actually gave a man (Richard W. Thompson) the sentence of 10 year probation for sexual assaulting a 12 year old girl. There were two counts!!! She was afraid that poor Richard, due to his size would get hurt in prison. He's 5'1. WHO CARES!?! He did the crime, he didn't care about his size when he was hurting that little girl.
