Women served on the Enterprise, and I have the pics to prove it.

themadlurker pimped the LJ comm where_no_woman (which is all about bringing the ladies of Trek into the new 'verse via fanfic) in this post, which I got to via a link some damn place. X3

And my OCD kicked in.

Under the cut, you will find a link to every Memory Alpha entry there is of the women who served on the Enterprise under the command of James T. Kirk, as seen in the original series, the animated series, and a little bit of the movies.

There were more of them than you might think.

There are at least another 16 unnamed female members of the crew seen on-screen.

Further, there are at least two notable women who served under Pike but not Kirk: Yeoman J. M. Colt and "Number One"

Also, the last episode of TAS introduces the very first Captain of the Enterprise, Robert April. His CMO also became his wife: Dr. Sarah April (née Poole).

This, of course, is not counting characters who only showed up in the books or comics -- although some of the women listed above were fleshed out in those media. You could find out more on that tack by checking Memory Beta.
