Here's my attempt at an introduction, and I say attempt because this is...more like a random list of stuff. Woot!
My name is Anqi It's pronounced as Chinese pinyin: ahn-chee. It literally means safe and precious jewels, although if you take the characters together it just means angel. I'm fine with elixien or lixi too.
School Carnegie Mellon University. B.S. in Business Administration, and hopefully a double major in something technical so I can actually do things. I'm kind of a workaholic and I don't feel like I'm ~*fulfilling my purpose in life*~ unless I'm dying of schoolwork constantly.
Greyscale and bluescale This is my favorite color scheme, since I don't have a favorite color. Is bluescale even a word? The shade of blue should be adjusted to fit what the colors are being used for. I also like pretty paper, layouts, words, and pens. (I really need to go back to China and...hoard a bunch of it and come back here * u*)
Fandom In k-pop, I like SHINee, Super Junior, DBSK, Big Bang, 2PM, SNSD, 2NE1, BoA, T-ara, et cetera. This list is roughly in order. My major biases are Key (and the rest of SHINee), Ryeowook (and the rest of K.R.Y.), and CL. And this doesn't mean I don't listen to American/other countries' music. I'm just not technically in their fandoms. In manga, I love Claymore, Prince of Tennis (although admittedly mainly for the fanfic), and Loveless. I'm huge on the Game of Thrones fandom and can't stop reading analytical essays.
Fanfic FANFIC. I LOVE FANFIC. /FLAIL
Internet I don't think I could live without it. My computer is my precious.
The Heavens I love almost anything involving the sky, the stars, the moon, the clouds, or any celestial object. I also like birds.
Fantasy worlds Sometimes my mind creates alternate universes that I go to when I'm daydreaming. I think my current count is about 4. Some of them I like more than others, but it's fun to be able to travel anywhere. In my head. I tend not to write them down because that destroys the ~*magic*~. keke.
Professional people-watching So it's not professional, but I have a hobby (actually I think it turned into a habit) of people-watching. I tend to notice things like adorable noses with nice bridges, cupid bow lips, long necks, double eyelids, and high cheekbones, but I can always find something beautiful about any person off the street. Sometimes this gets me strange looks if I comment on them, especially since I'm extremely blunt about it.
Sleeping habits I'm nocturnal. Yeah.
Sci-fi/fantasy and fanfic I read a lot of these genres. The verb in the last sentence should have been read in past tense. Now I read only during the summer, when I have time, and the rest of the time I read fanfic. Fanfic makes me happy. If I like it, I kill teddy bears. In the nicest way possible.
Outlook on life Optimists are said to live longer than pessimists. That's why I'm neither.
