On a Dark Desert Highway

Nov 06, 2007 22:19

A pink car roars through the night, wheels all but gliding over the highway. The land all around is empty, barren. There is a bleak sort of beauty to it, a beauty one can only appreciate with the right kind of eyes.

Elita does not have those eyes right now. Right now, she has the road under her wheels, the wind over her body, and the stars above her.

She has no idea where she's going and only a vague idea where she has been. But it's good to do what she was built to do. It almost soothes the black anger lurking in wait.
