It Continues

Who: Rave and Titanly people
When: The night after this
Where: Downtown Jump

How annoyingly quiet.

Usually Rave enjoyed such peace, but this silence was different. It was a happy silence; a 'there's nothing wrong with our city, happy happy joy joy!' silence. It was bothersome.

The demon hovered high above the city, the light from various streetlamps and buildings glittering serenely in the darkness. Rave's cloak fluttered slightly in the wind, and his scarlet eyes narrowed from the shadow cast by his hood. He hadn't slept since fleeing the tower; he didn't really need to, but he had spent the time thinking about many different things, and that angered him. He was incredibly frustrated by what he perceived to be Beast Girl's betrayal. Rave was, however, quite happy with Ran's departure. He should have thought of that sooner; taunting the geomancer and letting him be by his guilt-ridden lonesome, then killing him would be much more suitable of a punishment.

Rave looked up at the stars above him. They did nothing to help how peaceful the night was. Azar, was this whole universe against him? Oh, wait. He was a demon. Of course they were. He'd almost forgotten.

The dark-haired empath slowly began to descend, slowly flying down to the city. He'd managed to elude his team thus far, but he couldn't be sure how long it would take them to locate him. Then again, did they even want to? Did he even want them to? No doubt they would try to enslave him again, to pull him back to how he had been before. They would take away his freedom.

No, no, he couldn't have that. They were the only ones who would have even a chance of returning him to his previous state of mind. He would have to get rid of them. But how? Rave's four crimson eyes narrowed slightly as he flew, the wind whistling past him.

Ohhh.

He stopped above a group of large buildings, the wheels in his head turning fiercely. Yes, yes, that would work. He would lure them in... and then rid himself of them. Maybe he could throw a building on them or something; there seemed to be plenty of those, no one would miss one or two. With a plan in mind, Rave flew closer to the city. Ahh. There. A propane tank near the cluster of buildings. The demon stretched out one palm, murmuring a spell under his breath. A beam of obsidian shot from his hand, shooting towards the tank. He hit his mark perfectly, causing the tank to explode in a mass of debri and fire. The flames quickly began to flow through the building closest to the tank, the upper floors slowly crumbling.

The screams from the people below reached Rave's ears, and he grinned with sadistic satisfaction.
