What are your views on:
The war in Iraq: I wish we weren't there, i think that there is much more going on behind it than what the american public knows, and i don't support it. However, I also realize that we have real people fighting and getting real wounds and so i fully support our soldiers with hopes that they'll come home safe and soon!
Gay marrige: As an advocate of Gay rights i think that this "protection of marriage" stuff is all hooey. I firmly believe that all couples deserve to be recognized as legitimate, and though i personally dont think that marriage is the answer, because yes, it is an age old Man-Woiman institution, i believe that gay couples should be allowed to have something comparable to secure things like hospital visitation rights and things that have been overlooked for so long. I support gay marriage because it seems to be one of the big things looming in the way of equal rights for all americans.
Abortion: While i doubt i could ever have an abortion myself, i would never condemn any woman for doing so.
The death penalty: i don't have strong feeling on this issue, ha! I can see from both sides too well, i understand the eye for an eye reasoning that i'm sure must come with being the loved one of a victim of a brutal act, , but i also see how serving a lifetime or two can be an even better punishment for someone, and it also leaves room for improvement and growth for the person who committed the crime..
Pre-marital sex: big fan. I see so many of these christian girls who are so firm to stay virgins until marriage that they rush into a completely wrong marriage just so they can have sex. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, as long as the couple is smart and takes all of the preventative measures so that something beautiful wont turn into a nightmare.
Drug use: Having loved addicts, i absolutely hate drugs. Anything that can transform a vibrant creative mind into a fiending mass of flesh with no drive is a terrible thing.
Why are you an elite lady? because i think for myself, I consider the opinions of other before passing judgement, and i get a kick out of meeting other intelligent women. It's nice to know they're out there!
If you could change one thing about yourself [physical] what would it be? -15 lbs, but isnt that everyone's plan?
If you could change one thing [ mentally] about yourself what would it be? i'd love to be less emotional about some things.
Put somthing funny , make us laugh. oh lordy, when put on the spot... apparently fanny means vagina in great britain (this is hearsay from my friend) so... fanny packs take on a whole new meaning. I havent had a fanny pack in wayyyy too long.
If you could swim in a pool of anything what would it be? Framboise Lambic even my toenails would get drunk...
Pet peeves: people who say "u" instead of you. And i hate questions. I work with kids, and everything is a question "miss kim, why is your hair red?"' " because i wandered into a tomato patch and the vines declared war, get off my back kid!"
Chinese food or mexican food? Oh my god, cruel and unusual. I think i'd go for chinese but none of that panda express stuff. I love this place called Luby. Their "Chicken" is better than their chicken. (they have an excellent veg. menu)
Summer or winter? Winter. Hot chocolate loses some of its fun in the summer.
Snow or rain? mmm... i love the rain.
Rock or rap? rock.
Strawberries or blueberries? strawberries. Antioxidants, who needs those?
Cat or dog? Dog lover by default-- allergic to cats (i still prefer cats anyway)
