What are your views on:
The war in Iraq I do think it was necessary for us to go over there, but definitely not for as long as we have been. Once Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship was defeated, and the democracy was beginning to develop, the job of our military was done. Bush is just keeping our troops there because he’s scared to pull away, even just a little bit, until his desire for a feeling of strength and power is satisfied. Innocent people, both Americans and Iraqis, are being killed over something that should have stopped a while ago.
Gay marriage I am completely and 100% for gay people getting every single right that straight people have including the right to be married, adopt children, etc. etc. I don’t even understand why this is such a big issue in the first place. What happened to the separation between church and state? What happened to equal rights?
Abortion I’m pro-choice. But what most people don’t understand is that being pro-choice doesn’t mean I’m pro-abortion. I don’t think it’s okay for someone to sleep around recklessly and use abortion as a form of birth control. But in my opinion, abortion should be between a woman and her doctor. I don’t think it’s the government’s place to tell a woman what to do with her body.
The death penalty This is a tricky one. I say that I’m against the death penalty because to me, sitting in a prison cell for the rest of your life with no chance of parole is a far worse punishment than the death penalty. However, it’s tough to formulate a definite pro or anti opinion on this, because I’ve never been in a situation (thank goodness) where I was very closely related to a crime in which the prosecution could ask for the death penalty, like being the family of a victim of a horrible crime of some sort.
Pre-marital sex I have nothing against it. I don’t think it’s a “sin” or anything if you have sex before you’re married. Personally, I won’t have sex until I’m in a really trusting and committed relationship
Drug use Definitely something that I never have done/never intend on doing. I don’t necessarily look down on people who do though, like some of my friends smoke and stuff… I guess I just don’t see the point in smoking or doing drugs. It’s not for me.
Why are you an elite lady? I consider myself to be a down to earth kind of person, and I’m always happiest when I’m making other people smile. I’m just outgoing and honest and random!
If you could change one thing about yourself [physical] what would it be? My nose! I’m Jewish, so of course I’m “blessed” with a nice big weird nose. Grrr.
If you could change one thing [ mentally] about yourself what would it be? I’d be more patient… I can usually be pretty patient, but sometimes I just get irritated too easily.
Put something funny , make us laugh.
If you could swim in a pool of anything what would it be? Spaghetti! I know that’s totally gross and weird, but it’d be so fun to do it just once!
Pet peeves Okay this is going to sound really bizarre, but my main pet peeve is feeling “un-even” - so like I hate having one sleeve rolled up and one down, or having only one sock on and stuff like that!
Chinese food or Mexican food? Mmm, Chinese food - I just had some last night!
Summer or winter? Summer - there’s nothing like a nice hot day on the beach.
Snow or rain? Snow - I love snowboarding and just playing in snow!
Rock or rap? Rock - I’m not a big fan of rap music.
Strawberries or blueberries? Blueberries - too bad they’re like never in season.
Cat or dog? Both! I couldn’t choose… I have 1 dog and 2 cats and I love them all equally! :-)
Spring or autumn? Spring - it’s definitely my favorite season!
