Why does your account have to be at least one month old?
I joined just for this and it is supposed to end tomorrow (from what I read anyway?)

This is a super late reply to your comment (and you can still apply. Things haven't shut down yet), but the reason an account must be at least a month old is to prevent people from applying, getting squibbed (or not liking the house they were sorted into), and then creating a new journal to apply again under a different name. You get one shot.
