What's with the shuffling masses of undead outside?

To add insult to potential zombie injury, the power (actually) went out for I don't know how long. It happened to come back just as I was opening the fridge door to grab some water, which led to this ominous exchange in my head:

Well, I always said - didn't I always say it? - that given my location I would be screwed in the event of a zombie attack. My complex is next door to the old folks' home, we're right down the road from that Civil War-era cemetery and there are three funeral parlors within a few blocks of here. I had three extremely vivid dreams. Two of them were nightmares, and one of them involved sliding down lots of escalators and hallways in an attempt to reach a new roller coaster ride. Ryan was there, and Mike and Matt. But mostly the dream was sliding, and that was lots of fun ( Read more... )
