I'm going to throw these predictions out there and see how wrong I end up being. One of them is so painfully obvious that it must be true; the other is so obvious that I'll be kind of disappointed if it is.

Starbuck is not Daniel. Too many contradictions in the current storyline. I will however lay strong odds on Starbuck being Daniel's daughter. One copy of the Daniel's must have found it's way to Mrs. Thrace, bet you any amount of money you want.

I like this prediction variant too. Would make sense with her being a) a girl, but b) an artist.

I would be willing to accept it, but I think it would be more of a mindfrak if it was Starbuck herself.

Daniel's genetic code was 'currupted' - could have made a male a female.

They've gone to great pains to portrary Kara as an artist, sometimes seemingly against her will. (All we know about her father is that he played piano.)

All that drivel Leoben spouted about her destiny, and recognizing her, and how she has a path to take.

I don't know. It makes sense to me and I'm sticking to it. We'll know one way or the other in four episodes!
