well, that's just like, your opinion, man.

For my next trick, I will remove a predetermined number of Wheat Thins from the box, and then put the box away without consuming its entire scrumptious contents!

So my company is doing this Olson Biggest Loser thing, like the game show. They did it last year, too. Anybody who wants to can sign up, and whoever loses the highest percentage of their body weight by the end of November wins a weekend at a B+B or something.

I signed up. Maybe being publicly accountable (at least in my head; nobody in the office really cares) will be that bit of push I need to lose these last stubborn pounds.

Though it's weight, not fat percentage. So I could lose this belly at last and be a dynamo of densely-packed girlmuscle, and still not win because I didn't lose much weight. It doesn't matter though. I'm doing the OBL thing mostly for a laugh. I'm not sure of my chances of winning, because I don't know how rotund the people in the East Coast offices are.

The three-day weekend was nice. Saturday I went to Great America with klevermore and the childrens. I love Top Gun, which is now called Flight Deck because Paramount doesn't own the park anymore, but hell with that, it will always be Top Gun to me, even if the operators no longer wear flight suits.

Oh! Also watched some more How I Met Your Mother with Karla, and then we did The Big Lebowski at the Camera Midnight Movie Madness. That guy is still hosting. I answered a trivia question and won a Raising Arizona DVD.

On Sunday I went to chershey's, hung out with her and a few of her friends, drank much Kahlua, played board games, and watched Hot Fuzz, Happy Gilmore and The Jerk. I fell asleep at the end but it was fun.

The rest of my time this weekend was spent watching an unhealthy and awesome amount of the third season of 24. After a few discs of the second season I got bored and elected to skip ahead, which turned out to be a good move. This season has much more Jack Bauer ass-kickery, plus bonus Sylar and Zoe. I have an episode and a half to go, and trust me, they are RUNNING OUT OF TIME.

I have this peach and I want to eat it, but I know as soon as I get my fingers all fruit-sticky, the phone will ring. Dilemma and bother.

It's a good day.
