I like my black holes like I like my women: far away from all my stuff.

A lot of my hair is gone and what is left looks adorable. It's about chin-length in the front and very short and layered in the back - a huge change, for me. It's like a whole new approach to the very idea of hair. I only need a tiny bit of shampoo. Combing takes five seconds. I'll take photos.

In the meantime, can anyone recommend a good pomade-type product for crazy spikiness, and also a good cheap hair-straightening tool?

So, uh: OMG WTF? How come nobody has ever warned me that there are thirteen-foot arthropods out there? Why did that never come up?

Luckily, the fabric of space-time will probably be ripped asunder before these nightmares of crustacea can ever find me.

It's a very slow Friday at the office. Can you tell?

Today I learned that you aren't allowed to sell Nazi memorabilia on eBay, and also that there are folk who believe digital imaging and RFID tags are the Mark Of The Beast. I also looked up a bunch of haunted places. And bought some arm-warmers on Etsy.

I have no plans tonight. I was thinking I might go to the triple-feature at the Castro - Return To Oz, Beetlejuice, Meet The Feebles - but I think I may just go home, make some dinner and watch a Matthew Goode DVD. In fact, that's probably exactly what I will do.
