This morning, around the side of the pan-Asian marketplace I walk through to get to the train, I happened upon a shopping cart full of pig carcasses.
Early morning. Nothing else but litter in the parking lot. Lovely peach sunrise, light reflecting off the higher windows. Me, walking past in my red coat and iPod and capris, bopping along. And then this metal shopping cart, and all akimbo inside of it were three or four, almost whole, very dead pigs..
