Today Lisa, Josh, Raina and I went to Central Park (in San Mateo, not Manhattan).
I haven't been there since I was little, so it seemed like a big deal to take Raina there. She's walking all over the place now. She gets more beautiful every day. I love my niece.
Lisa took pictures of us with the waterfalls and the first of the cherry blossoms. We ate yummy packed lunches from Trader Joe's that included PB+Js, string cheese, apple slices, and a little bag of chocolate graham crackers. All this for $3.50. They were fairly awesome and scrumptious.
I finished synopsizing the first batch of the Chilean soap opera. Now I've got a load of towels in the laundry, and I'm going to head out to the grocery store to lay in provisions for my terribly ill boyfriend, and then I'm going to watch me some Ninth Doctor and be completely lazy.
I've actually got the weekend painstakingly planned out. I've got Pet Club coupons from the Penny Saver, so tomorrow I'm going to roll down there with my wheeled bag and purchase many pounds of kittie food and litter. I'm also going to do the rest of the laundry, and get my stuff together for my first day at Olson on Monday since I'll be away from home most of the weekend.
Saturday is the SF meetup during the day and Janaene Garafolo with
chershey and
unnamedfeeling at night. I'm spending the night at Cat and Kenneally's afterwards so we can have a Torchwood double-header on Sunday, and then it's back home and early to bed for my first day on the job.
I am happy.
