Some of you who know me well are aware of the irrational and unconditional love I harbor for the defunct Comedy Central show
Let's Bowl. It's not out on DVD and it likely never will be, but there is this
site where you can get every episode ever made for basically free - $6 to cover the DVDs and shipping. It's even endorsed by the show, so you could say it's the official unofficial bootleg.
In any case, I went ahead and ordered them a few weeks ago and they came today.
Zomg so happy.
I know it's completely ridiculous, but I just couldn't get enough of this show. Petty disputes! Bowlers with averages of 120! Rich Kronfeld Wally Hotvedt!
'My feet are killing me. I think they're full of toxins.'
'These two are natural enemies, just like the Mongoose and the Cobra.'
Polka Frame!
1/4 Cow Winner!
The DVDs are really good quality, too. Much better than if I'd managed to sort through my several dozen unlabeled blank tapes and find any episodes I might have recorded, that's for sure.
In other news:
- I think I really want to go to
PAX this year.
- Baycon has requested that
lexigeek and I reprise Mingo Bingo. Encore!
- Go pick up the second
Firefly Visual Companion. Go now. I'll wait.
- Next, turn to page 60. Or so I hear.
- Geekdom is attempting to explain what little you understand of the plot of the quietly brilliant film
Primer, using the counter at the comic shop and some Hot Tamales.
- Aaagh Heroes more now please too many characters not enough time. Also, I still like Drive. Nathan even got to do a second facial expression!
