I still know next to nothing about football, but the Super Bowl party at Renee and George's was a lot of fun. I love my friends.
And Francis burned the first four episodes of Heroes to DVD for me! I am going to run up and throw a load of laundry in, and then I am going to set up camp on the couch and watch all of them.
I'm going to blast it, too. Because the neighbors on the other side of the wall? The ones who never sleep? The ones that are yelling across the room to each other at 2am when I'm trying to sleep, but still manage to also be installing drywall or something at 7am when I'm still trying to sleep?
Yeah, they've got their sound system going. The one that I can feel in my bones. I know what day it is, and I wouldn't begrudge them partying on this day if it weren't for the fact that they do this pretty much every fucking other day as well. YOU LIVE IN A GODDAMNED APARTMENT. YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY PEOPLE ON EARTH OKAY.

But hey, I've got work! Temporary work, just Monday and Tuesday, doing promotional distributing for a software company at the RSA Conference. I have to be up early. I can't remember if I mentioned it before. I get to wear a silly hat and cape and pretend to be from another country that is trying to invade the software company. Basically we all get to play Borat for two days. Just a hundred or so bucks but it's something, and it's going to be awesome, actually.
And you watch, I'll get a job this week. I'm supposed to call this one agency back tomorrow to set up an interview, probably for Wednesday. Johnny says there's this one temp place, I just need to tell them he sent me and I'll have a job the next day. He's going to send me the information. I'll have a job soon.
