Closed last night, got a call this morning to open as well because Steph is sick. Scot and Stephanie have both been sick for ages.
It's cold and I didn't get any sleep, but I have a fabulous pinstripes + sweater vest + business shirt + sneakers type outfit.
I can't stop listening to 'Veronica'. (I just learned that Paul McCartney co-wrote and played bass on it. Who knew?) I am going to make a mix of Songs I Couldn't Stop Listening To For Some Reason Or Other This Year. It would have to include Sia's 'Breathe Me', Ladytron's 'Destroy Everything You Touch' and Lizzie West's 'Chariots Rise'. The last Elvis Costello song I couldn't stop listening to was 'Green Shirt'. Or it might have been 'Let's Misbehave' from the Delovely soundtrack. I was so delighed to see him in that movie when I was only watching it for Jonathan Pryce. Now I throw it on in the store whenever I can, which is kind of like cheating because we're not allowed to put on any of the actual Music Performance DVDs but we're allowed to watch Musicals.
Ooh, we got the shipment two days early because of the holiday. I can bring Superman Returns to Thanksgiving. Last year we watched Rush Live In Rio. The year before, we watched Concert For George and my dad taught me how to play George Harrison songs.
