...and then, like, nobody cheered for my costume during the costume contest. Hmph. That's what I get for posting beforehand about how hot I think I look.
But Amanda won second prize! She was dressed as a sexy little Peter Pan. And to start the show, the Crowd Pleasers did a routine to Living Dead Girl, and Nate was Rob Zombie, and it was fucking awesome. And Jace was dressed as a pregnant nun, and there was a Corpse Bride, and a Marie Antoinette in lingerie and the guy who won first prize was a Frankenstein monster in huge platform boots who would open his jacket and flash people with a dildo. A Frankenstein flasher.
I love Halloween.
Also, I'm officially on cast now, even though I'm just Clean Up so I didn't think it was any sort of thing, but I get to go in early anyway, which means I can grab a couch, so no more waiting in line for us, my pets. Seedy dive bar next door, here we come. [This will be especially welcome when it starts to get very cold, right around now.]
I have to wake up in about four hours and go open the video store. Mmm. Extra hour of sleep.
Did I mention how happy Battlestar made me on Friday? I don't think I did. Well. It did.
