I have similar lists for Gary Oldman, Alan Tudyk, Ewan McGregor, Hugo Weaving and Paul Bettany. What can I say? I get movies for free and I'm a completist. And Jonathan Pryce, in addition to being all British and brilliant, can sing. And dance, even. I found this video of him as the Engineer in Miss Saigon and it almost killed me. [He was in his forties, I think. Maybe fifties. Don't care. Doesn't matter. You didn't see the video.] Then I watched Unconditional Love, which was okay, but in it he sings all the time. That's all he does, is sing. And he sings Fools Rush In, and then I fall off the couch, is pretty much how that goes. Oh my god. I mean, of course he has a devilishly marvelous voice but I was not informed of all these other facts until quite recently.

Some things:

- Universal, what the fuck? Hello? What the fucking fuck, Universal?
- Pan's Labyrinth was beautiful but in a way I did not expect. I will see it again in the theatre. We stayed at Tony's until 5am last night. Maybe past 5. I don't know. He has On Demand. The couches were comfy. We giggled a lot and time passed. Impromptu karaoke may have been involved. Also voiceovers to muted Iron Maiden videos.
- I completely changed my Halloween costume plans. Yesterday. But I think I can pull it off.
- Poppy Z. Brite hates the movie Brazil. I would like someday to ask her why.
- Chuck Klosterman and Bill Bryson both have new books out.
- I brought home a movie named Game Of Death because Jonathan was on the cover. During the opening credits, the name Paul Bettany came up. I almost fell off the couch again. Slowly I realized that this was a film otherwise known as Suicide Club. I thought we didn't have it. Hooray for cross-fandomy films!
- One of the cats is snoring.
