I'm re-reading The Witches Of Eastwick and it's comforting in the oddest of ways. This book is one of my books that I love because I don't just hear them in my head but really feel and taste them. It feels like leaves and old things and childhood Halloweens, which are things that feel like home to be personally. Anyway.

Last night I went to Rocky Horror again, straight from work, this time with Cat. Christina showed up for part of it. I'm sure it's the kind of thing that must get old after a while, but right now it is my new and fun happy thing. It's fun to go out to a cinema with couches and yell things out, and be friends with strangers. and to already know all the songs, and to dress up. I used to complain that there weren't enough occasions to dress up in life. Evidently I just needed to find them.

A little while ago I was thinking about all of the wonderful people I've met in the past year, and then over the years, and in my life, and how I might never have known them if this or that had been different. I got so sentimental that I avoided even posting about it. Some of you were thisclose to being on the receiving end of a very sappy mass e-mail. Just so you are aware.

Cat and Kenneally [whose names together sound like a folk rock group or a foreign cartoon show] have been playing Monopoly and drinking in the other room, but I feel small and quiet and tired and I'm going to get in bed and fall asleep to music and Eastwick.

Here is my playlist for the night.
