Not only am I getting a computer of my very own tonight, I am basically getting it for free. WorkMike said he was excited about getting paid so he could go buy an Ebow. I myself am in possession of an Ebow which has hardly been used because I am no good at playing my guitar on its own and have given up on attempting fancy tricks with it.
A trade, then: one Ebow for one iMac. And it's the fairest trade ever because a guitar-effect thingy is useless to me, and that computer is useless to him.
I'm so excited about having my own computer again. I have actually been keeping up with my f-list although I've not been commenting, but I miss all my pictures. At least using Cat's iBook so much has acclimated me somewhat to using a Mac.
Speaking of Macs, Justin Long is in the new Mac ads looking scruffly and adorable. Somebody even joined my Justin Long community because of them. [So now there are two of us.]
We watched Nanny McPhee last night. It was very sweet.
We also filed an incident report with the police yesterday. It felt good to get it all on paper and official, what my aunt has been doing to us. It's almost certainly not over, but at least if something else does happen we'll have done that much.
The cute, geeky customer I've been flirting with lately? Yeah, he came in yesterday wearing a Dodgeball shirt. Clearly he is trying to kill me. Alas, he is moving away.
Okay, I have lots to do today, including but not limited to cashing my paycheck, doing the laundry, hitting the pet supply store, getting some Baycon stuff done, meeting Cat and going lamp-hunting at Ikea, and finding that Ebow. So, I should probably shower and dress and eat and get on with all that.
